So Many Movies Are About Broken Crayons

 What do most to all movies that Robin Williams starred in have in common?

 What does Lust for Life or the life of Vincent have in common with Robin's movies?

 They are all about people broken by events in their lives.

 Some come back. 

 Some choose to end their lives rather than fix them or create new lives, or find new Passions.

 Some go on to live more adventurous and exciting lives no matter how often their lives are broken. 

 Again and Again they fight back as Robert H. Schuller wrote about in several of his books.






For 25 years I read books like this and so many more looking for answers in my life.  Ways to deal with the shit that continually happened in my life:

 Deaths 
Job Losses
Failures
Divorce
Screw Ups
Cholera
Getting lost 
loss of my son
loss of my wife
loss of my careers, 8 careers to date.
loss of a soul mate
loss of friends of many types
loss of a lover

 My main goal through writing this book is to provide the readers 

 Methods, Techniques, Processes, etc. 

 I have learned, discovered or perhaps created that have helped me climb out of pits or deep personal or professional valleys to climb to the top of a new hill or mountain.

 I have achieved a mix of levels of success but no real fame.

 Fame was never a real goal of mine.

 Great wealth was never a true goal of mine.

 My on-going goal has been to live a meaningful, valuable, life with a real purpose while using my growing creative thinking skills and traits.

What are Broken Crayons? Using colored wax crayons as a metaphor for human beings allows us to explore many things about ourselves and others. Most cultures tend to want people to fit within their cultural boxes. Crayon manufacturers have been manufacturing and selling boxes of many sizes for over a century. 4, 8, 16, 24, 96, 100+ are some of the sizes The variety and number of colors vary with the size of the box and the manufacturer.  But still there is always that BOX. Add to that the manufacturers place paper wrappers around the wax. To protect them? No! Really to advertise the name.
